Renae Searls, a senior at Martinez Alhambra High in California, placed second in the girls small school 2-mile race in 11:56.1 at the Ed Sias Invitational at Hidden Valley Park in Martinez, Calif. Searls ran the second-fastest time overall from all female races combined.
